Orbey (alt. 520 m, 3 300 inh.) get longer in the green "vallée de la Weiss" leading to vosgian crests and the famous lakes ("Lac Blanc" : white lake, "Lac Noir" : black lake).
At 3 km from Orbey is a small hamlet named Pairis (alt. 850 m), around an hospital founded on the ruins of an ancient abbey.

Lapoutroie (alt. 420 m, 2 000 inh.) and Le Bonhomme (alt. 680 m, 600 inh.) are villages located in the "vallée de la Béhine", on the road going to the "col du Bonhomme" (Colmar to Saint-Dié by the col).

Hachimette (alt. 375 m, 1 100 inh.) is a village locared at the cross of the "vallée de la Weiss" and "val d'Orbey".

Fréland (alt. 450 m, 1 100 inh.) : small village aside the main road climbing to Aubure.

Trois-Épis (alt. 670 m) : climatic station and pilgrimage place.

Labaroche (alt. 480 à 760 m, 1 700 inh.) : important hamlet, very vast - some says it's great like Paris! -, between the "val d'Orbey" and the "vallée de Munster", near Trois-Épis.

All this area is scattered with a lot of farms, famous by the fabrication of Munster cheese. Due to the "resort area" character, you can find here a lot of hotels, flats, rooms, B&B a.s.o.
